I would say so, shorter bars are much easier on your shoulders for tricks like this!

damn, but it's so comfortable for general riding...I'll have to think about it

I was down on my back with the bike on top to practice and it's just not possible doing a table without turning the bar, my arms aren't long enough or rather...the stock handlebar that I'm running is too long Big Grin

I too tried the longer bars, mine were 780mm and I noticed I couldn't do table tops or X-ups any more!
I cut them down to 740mm and that seems to be good for me, still a bit long but I can pull tables and they are still long enough for riding comfort! Its good to test with an old bar or cheep bar to see what length you like before you cut the bars you like! Smile Like always awesome photos!

@nikoniko: ah, good advice, I thought I could just trim 1cm off each side and be done with it...but I now guess I'll do what you said. Thanks!

I know its hard, do you want the long bar stability or the narrow bar technical ability, more tricks and more movement. For me, having the bars just slightly longer than my shoulders works good! Its odd to think I used to ride 680mm and have no problems, X-ups and tables were easier so I have recently be thinking of going to 720mm! Thank you too, its fun to test and ponder new ideas!
