are u kidding me trailchef look at guys riding teh scott ransom carbons up whistler carbon can be very strong some companys just suck with tehre process i bet this bike will withstand alot more then u think. and it would be good to see an alluminum version to make it a bit more affordable for people.
How does it look heavy its carbon obviously they have to beef it up a bit i bet this thing rides so nice the second there on the market im getting one.
cannondale frames are not a piece of shit crowe have you even walked through one of their factories? they test these frames pretty hard so shut ur mouth
its a single pivot and yes tehre is a point to the "crazy linkage" look at teh judge with the scissor link its staged travel i bet this bike will be the same. look at the demo bikes there linkage is more f*cked up then this.
I had a Prophet and it launched my riding to new levels. I outgrew it cuz of the flexy rear. This looks like they addressed that....too bad it's not better looking (paintjob aside)
carbon frames don't belong on anything that leaves a groomed xc trail, think tou will ever see Simmons riding anything like that on the shore? All style, no substance. don't waste your $.
hey ratherbeoutriding, almost every comment on PB is someone's opinion. i have seen a cannondale that needed repair more than any bike i have ever seen (and it wasn't due to being riden too hard) so i am of the OPINION that they are a piece of shit. i don't care about the factory, i care how the bike performs and how durable it is, and for the money, he could have gotten a much better bike. i will say this, he seems to be happy with it even if he is fixing it all the time. so in the future i will try to make sure MY OPINION matches yours, but if it don't, i'm afraid i still won't shut my mouth. you'll just have to accept the fact that not everyones opinion agrees with yours. cheers.
that's how much my old xc bike weighed lol
Big news huh?!
