Amos from Brumble bikes hooked me up with a new Cannondale habit 6. Amos worked with me 25+ years ago at Kings cyclery and I can tell you, no one deserves the rainbow jersey more than Amos. He is a true riders rider. I ripped the fork apart immediately and modded the 130 to a 150mm travel, flip chip in high position, ripped off the 29” wheels and put on some 27.5s. Now it is a righteous ride! Sadly on the first ride the fox float dips evol started leaking oil....(see my many other rants over the years about cookie cutter suspension) Not sending it back to fox...rebuilding it myself. If they couldn’t do it right the first time... I am all set. And this is why I have always repped and ridden Avalanche downhill racing suspension!!
