4 pistons is nice... but you should let the caliper use the whole contact patch on the rotor

yeah its sorta hard with the horizontal dropouts and getting the chain tight. any suggestions on how to do it?

You could try taking out the two washer/spacers between the caliper body and the adapter, it should move the caliper down a little more. If the bolts bottom, just throw the spacers on top and then you should be fine.
