Bmx31 couldn't be anymore wrong...I bought my federal in decemberand theonly time i took it apart is before i mounted it to adjust the slack. It still runs perfect these days after months of constant abuse. Sure theres some older Style coasters thatneed constant care. I've been thru them all...1st one was a Poverty(blew up on me)next was a Odyssey Reloader V2(springs were f*cked) then a Geisha and now a Federal...all within 2 years and I dont plan on switching back to a Cassette hub ever again.

iv got the same freecoaster and it works GREAT! iv had it for 3 months, and i still havnt had any problems with it

 im not wrong, it depends on how you ride them and how well you mantain them. if you want them smooth everyride you have to take them apart like every 2 seshins.

 Freecoasters = shit. unless you like taking apart your hub every 2 rides
