I bet you'd kill a velodrome on this bro. I'm too fat, old and slow now, but so glad I can still get my leg over a bike at my age. And love the builds as much as the rides also...I like the look of a Cinnelli Zydeco or Hobootleg, they been the main two bikes on my mind for a year or so? The Cannindale I been after since the day they were released, but too costly to keep producing them, so they pulled the plug on it. To get a size 54cm is not going to happen, everyone kept their 54cm...but luckily enough i'm borderline 52/54cm for my short arse so this 52cm with 100mm stem, 25mm layback feels spot on. Look at the condition also, absolutely spotless, so she will be a keeper for sure, unless someone got a good wad of cash. The rear Tri looks nice, but the original wheel is twice as light, so don't know if I should keep her looking standard.
Don't have the legs anymore but would be killer to ride this gem! Did ride one before, 56cm and all the other specs I don't remember. Doing 45Km/h like it was nothing, the build was just made for that speed with the aero parts and weight for that momentum.
I really love the clean tubing and smooth paintjob they give them. Awesome you got your hands on this one then as you mentioned not many available, same problem here a couple years ago.
Personally I would install the ellipse wheel. Easier on the legs for pedaling away. Besides, I don't trust plastic 3spokes for a bit. (There is a reason they're banned from velodromes(least for public trainings and comps that is))
I'm sure you will have a blast on her in any way or shape
Nice build again Simon
