yes they are on some hills other hill might not let you for some dumb reasons but to make sure i suggest you ask the company of were you are going. from all the people the have them i hear they are worth every penny.

 I wonder how much those cost? I've heard they're expensive, but definitly worth every penny.

 just email the places and ask them if you are allowed to ride a SMX on there hill i think most of them will let you
