Cheers mate! It is an 18" and i am about 5'11". Probably could have gone the next size up, but i like small frames as the standover is massive, and you can really chuck it around. Has a Blackspire chain device and bash ring on now. Unfortunately this means i had to loose the funky blue chainring bolts, as the bash requires longer bolts!

Nice. i've just got a summer edition 456 (not built yet) in 18" which is right on the limit for me at 6'2" but i want something chuckable. will be running a double and bash and was thinking of gettin a chain device, have you got any newer pictures,

Yep, have a look in my gallery, put a couple up the other day. Is the summer edition any different? I noticed the last time i was on the website the price had gone up a fair bit! Oh and if you go for a double and bash, get a 38 tooth chainring too. Have a 32 atm and am spinning my nuts off! Better wait till i fit mine first though to see if it fits, looks like it will be a bit tight up against the chainstay.

Just looked at your pictures, and they have only changed the one thing i don't like about the frame, the cable routing. ARSE! Oh well, getting a full suss in about 4 months anyway

they slackened the head angle to 66.6deg when running a 5inch fork and initial feedback is very positive. will have to wait and see myself as this is going be a slow build over the coming months as got a baby due to drop

Congrats on the baby. I fitted the 38 tooth chainring today and i now have the perfect gearing for trail riding, i can't see me ever putting the big ring on again (well, maybe for the Whitstable to Margate along the sea front runs Only about 2mm cleanence between the chainring and chainstay though, hopefully that won't be an issue! I like the Summer frames, but sceptical about the geometry changes, as i think they have the right balance with the old frames, especially when running a 5.5inch Pike. Let us know what you think once it's built up.
