I dont think it was a batch problem, i got it when i wasn't such a smooth rider, so that probably didnt do it any good, its a great frame though, absolutly loved it when i had it, id definetly suggest it.

when i bought my chase, my lbs recomended checking the tubes for cracks so it must be quite common?

Stress fracture on the down tube that i didnt notice, was riding up a hill and the frame collapsed below me.lol gutted
