Custom build.

Shimano Sora 2x9 speed groupset.

FSA Gossamer crank.

Chinese made, Pinarello style fork.

Super Team carbon wheelset. (1.3kg as the pair)

Barelli carbon drop bars.

Prime Components aluminium square style stem.

FSA headset.

Charge Spoon saddle (luckily they made one in black & green)
Chinese made carbon seat post.
Reverse aluminium anodised green seat clamp and headset spacers.

Not sure of the actual weight, but she feels between 8-9kg in weight, which I’m happy with as a budget build.

 Thank you David.

Hey brother. Long time! Nice ride. Which frame is that?
  • 1 0
Long time no speak for sure.

I hope you are well?

It’s a British brand from Manchester. Starley JKS-R1.

I won the frame for £65 alone. Very light. Then bought the rest of the parts to make a complete bike.

Very happy with her.

@mace-the-amazing: Excellent. Ya been ok. Busy with kids now. Have no real time for myself anymore. Few more years and these critters will be grown enough so I can get back out there. I miss the fresh pine scent and trails with pine needles.

@Svard75: A shame you're missing riding, but kids are worth it, if you're a parent.

This bike shall hibernate for winter. I plan on getting a CX bike for winter rides. Just low funds right now.

Been a while since I saw you on here, but recognised your name, as soon as you commented and I saw your upload.

@mace-the-amazing: yeah man. We connected a while ago. Shared some heart to heart. You doing well?

@Svard75: I'm doing ok right now, so nothing to complain about.

Just enjoying the next couple of weeks of warmish weather, and will ride this bike until it gets cold and damp.

How are you doing?

@mace-the-amazing: I wish I could say same old. Feel like crap. Missing the riding a lot. I’m actually in a space right now where even if I had the time I just do something else. Living arrangements have change. Official have two jobs so not as much idle time you know.
How are things there since brexit?

@Svard75: Sorry to read and hear this. Any chance of getting back on the saddle in the near-future?

I wouldn't assume that you'll never cycle again. You probably just need to pan out and wait out your situation, and see how it plays out. I'm sure you'll be riding again one day.

BREXIT seems to have made a few problems. Our parliament have been discussing re-joining the EU, although only mentions, more than action.

It hasn't affected me much, but a lot of Brits are complaining about it.

lol - I'd come last. That's if I could complete the ride.

I plan on a 20 mile ride next week, so should test my endurance.
