Here is my basic First Aid kit that I carry with me, while Mnt. Biking. I pack these items in my Hydration Pack:
* Hand sanitizer, and/or rubbing alcohol, as well as 3-6 pieces of Alcohol pads
* Topical anesthetic ointment
*Bandaids (various sizes, and shapes). 
* Sterile or clean gloves (latex or non-latex is your preference)
* Gauze and/or sterile cotton balls, & Q-tips
* Tweezers
* A few of each - Ibuprofen, Aleve, & Aspirin
* A few strips of stretchy wrap, and/or Elastic bandage, 1 roll each of small & medium sizes
* Glucose Tablets, It’s good to have some emergency” - “Carbs/Sugar” in case you get hypoglycemia ("BONK").
* Meanthal Topical rub to alleviate sore muscles
* Icy/Hot patches
*Lidocaine patch, a topical pain relief patch.
