The Rock Springs Loop is accessed from the "Top of the World" trail at the top of the mountain at the Teton Village Tram line. This trail is classified as "Moderate" but if you're not used to the elevation, it's "Difficult" for sure. The trail is not very well marked, the signs are few and far between, but they will get you back to where you back to the Arial Tram. The trail has several nice views, but make sure you have plenty of water and even canned oxygen else you'll be quite miserable. We are from the East Coast so we suffered a bit from the high elevation. The return section as a BRUTALLY steep, very long dirt road switchback section that is not what you want to see for the last leg of the hike, but I guess that's on us for not examining the topo in more detail prior to the hike. In general, it was fun, but I don't want to do it again. BE MINDFUL OF THE ELEVATION! YOU ARE HIKING AT CLOSE TO 10k FEET FOR SEVERAL HOURS!
