Awesome, but without front brake it's really hard to ride down the hill... At such speeds rear isn't enough Razz Would be clever to figure out front brake somehow Big Grin

skiers dont have brakes and youd be riding it the same way way as they would.....and besides....brakes only slow you down!

y do you leave the front brake on

so you can put the wheel back on later? would be a pain to have to constantly take it on and off every time you want to ride with a ski or wheel.

i wonder how that corners? b funny to see someone ride it in thick mud

the rear track is actually made for snow and extremely muddy riding. don't really see the comical side to that..

Odin is right, I used to have one they corner well on snow and the rear track is in fact made for mud too.

I can nearly guarantee the front brake is poinless at this point

The front brake is only there because on K-Tracks site the front wheel disappears and the ski fades in from the background. It actually serves no purpose when the kit is on the bike.

 Im seriously considering getting one!
But would it work on a Giant Glory?
Like with a 20mm axel and a 10mm rear axel?
  • 2 0
Yes it would. Mounting the ski does not use the dropouts at all, the ski is clamped onto the fork lowers via its own mechanism. I believe they have different rear kits for the rear wheel/track. But as far as I see, there shouldn't be a problem.
