Didn't they weigh a metric A ton as well, IIRC they actually had Moto size levers an hoses! I could be wrong tho?

Now this may be wrong, but I'm rather sure I had a go, at a double front disk DH setup, on carbon wheels, somewhere in the nineties, and those were Brembo prototypes.

I can't seem to find a photo of that bike though. It's from before the camera phone.
It was Spin carbon wheels, with a custom made hub.
Very fancy for its time.

Bike shop I used to go to had a set. He had them on a Brooklyn Machine Works bike or a Devinci Big Bang, can't remeber which one.
