they ride amazing. there not only lightweight and plush as heck. but the dual arch adds so much to the fork, it takes corners so easily you don't even notice them.
like corners for example. usually the fork will try and push itself straight when your trying to turn and you have to put that extra force on tight turns. with the dual arches the fork seems to be fine at whatever angle its at and doesn't want to correct itself. its also suppose to make the fork stiffer, but i haven't had enough time actually riding it too see if its true. plus dual arch looks bad ass.
Imagine how flexy an inverted fork like a Dorado or Shiver is compared to a conventional fork. It's similar in principal to how stiff a DAD(dual arch design) fork is compared to a conv. design. Yes I realize I'm replying to posts from 2008 lol.
came to about $700. depends on were you get them from. i ordered mine for about $440 from pricepoint.com when the dollar was really bad and i got stuck with customs. i wouldn't recommend them for dirt jumping, there pretty much a straight forward XC fork.
Compared to something like a high end rockshox or a fox they feel like crap. They may be stiffer from the "dual arch design" but the stantions are super stictiony and the fork doesnt feel very plush. from my personal experiences anyways
well you might want to try a different fork then. This fork is beyond plush, I've ridden an Fox F100 and this is alot more plush and stiff. the seals are race seals so there is barely any stiction.
