lol, you obviously dont know what your talking about.
have fun with your chick magnet boat man.

i have a girlfriend, i have a cottage too, i live
in cottage country to begin with bud. my gf is
"hot" and shes not into my car, or the shit i
own lol, that a good girl. one of the ones
everyone wants lol.

my best friend has a 8 foot pod 2 seater pod boat.
and while were talkin about wake boarding, to start
all my friends have boats, i even have one. just dont
need it.. at all. i have my car and can go to Toronto
to find hot girls at bars lol.

but i forgot you all might be 15 years young, and not be
able to drive or drink at the bar.

the arguement is a car that can do 160mph, or a boat that can do
what 100mph. 150 mph sounds a bit high for a rotation propelled
boat.

i actually happen to be 17. and ur never going to get to 160mph unless your on a track or street racing. my boat can go 42mph with a prop that is designed to get the boat moving as fast as possible. i dont need a crazy fast boat when my lake is only 2km long. but ill bet you anything you'd be able to do more stuff in my boat then you'll ever be able to do in a 8 foot 2 seat pod.

well man im 19, and the pod boat is for fun on the water, what else can yours do?
i live in orillia, we have lake couchaching, lake simcoe, and lake st john, and a few others lol. this is where boating is the best. its just old to us by the time me hit 16 and want a car.

and ive been to 160 more than once. once your there slower isnt fun at all

well i guess thats just you then. i wakeboard, waterski, wakesk8, surf and tube behind my boat. i have a car and its just a means of transportation. so id rather dump money for gas and other stuff into my boat rather than my car. its just the way i am.

a boat dosent help you surf man. lol
i surf when im in cali lol. when me and
my buddys drive down to the states, flordia, cali,
miami, anywhere we want in our cars. and guess what.
its easy to rent a great boat for the day/ i have

my boating license, but you just live in the city probbaly.
i see the lake everyday lol

im obviously not talking about real surfing im talking about wake surfing. which is done behind a boat and i do live in the city but im at my cabin 24/7 during the summer. i also have my boaters license. i've had it for 6 years.

They have a cut away Vortec 5300 in the front hall at my college, definalty cool to look at. One of those backed by a tremec 6 speed sure would go nicely in my Chevelle, its amazing how far powertrain technology has come in so little time, your boat must make some excellent noise while hauling serious ass.

oh it does. it sounds gnarly from the dock too. you can hear it from over a km awayBig Grin

lol id just rather have a nice ride than a nice boat lol
f*ck boats, you cant go to far on a boat unless your in the ocean.
and even then, you can only go to harbours and beaches lol.
cars can take a farry Smile

i guessing you dont have a cottage then or a boat cuz if you did youd know that if you got a nice boat it will attract hot girls. its like a f*cking chick magnet. and in the sport of wakeboarding you cant get good unless you have a nice boat or have access to a nice boat.

lmfao, anyone could make it fit. but who would want to

ive got a vortec 5700 in a 98 Silverado, doesnt look quite like that tho nor does mine put out 330hp.. i think 255

awesome engines. yours is 6 years older than mine so mine will probably have a few different things and it might be tuned differently since its in a boat rather than a truck
  • 0 0
yeah quite a few boats have the 350 ci chevy motors.. some of them sound like absolute beasts lol. my dads boat only has a 175 horse in it but thats good enough considering its a pretty light river boat
  • 0 0
ya. the chevy 350 is definatly the most popular powerplant imo for both trucks and boats. and for good reason too. they're super reliable and make great power
  • 1 1
i wanna put that in my moms car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pshhh need a bigger one. please?

i would prefer the 494 truthfully. but i dont think it would get used very much this one already sucks enough gas as it is.
  • 0 0
lol so ur tellin me u wouldnt want a 900hp drag boat sitting on ur driveway
  • 0 0
pffft.. what good is a 900hp drag boat other than going fast and using up alot of gas. this can go 42mph which is plenty fast more my lake and it can hold 10ppl plus 2000lbs of water. can a drag boat do that? NO i think not:P
  • 0 0
but but but u can go 150mph+ with 2 ppl i think that makes up got the 8 other ppl and 2000lbs of water Big Grin
  • 0 0
i guess. but what happens when you hit a wave and the boat is destroyed. your out alot of money then
  • 0 0
 then you cry lol

thanksSmile its nice aside from the amount of gas it usesFrown
  • 0 0
ah i bet yeah i have an old 2 stroke 170 hp outboard on mine so its not bad on gas haha
  • 0 0
ya. the bost we had before this was a 2 stroke 115hp outboard. it was good but it didnt create much of a wake for wakeboarding
