MEASURE THE INSIDE DIAMETER OF THE RIM its not hard lol! get a measuring tape and measure from one inside part to the other side make sure oyu get it to its largest mm point then you'll know wheres the picutres? do you build your own wheels ?
Yeah I think you were right about it being 492. I measured it up at roughly that, give or take a mm. And yeah I hand built my own wheels I will get some pics up now.
i was looking at them 2 nights ago haha 490 grams right? it says the erd is 507 but thats impossible for a 24inch rim lol i think the erd for the runaway is 492 or something im gonna get one in chrome
i only knew it being around 492 through reading on some forums i think 507 islike the outer diameter of any 24inch rim, right? are you keeping your atomlab rims ?
Yeah 507 is the outer diameter. Im selling both wheels on the Charge ( DJD on Pimplite 36H and NS Simple Roller on Pimp 32H) and my Manitou's. Might split the wheels up for the right price
On the rim it says 507 x blah blah blah. You say that that would be too big for a 24" but the rim slopes in from the sides and the spoke hole are at angles so the spokes go straight instead of bending. Like on the G-Sport rib cage bmx rims.
If you understand a word of what I have just said I will be amazed.
If you are running a rigid fork your front end can be rather low and with a high rise bar it helps when lefting up the front end of your bike. I did have a 2" rise bar a while ago and it wasn't high enough but when I switched to a 3" rise and to this 3.5" it felt so much better. Made manuals easy as pie.
but that wont make the need for longer spokes but possibly by about 2mm at most i think. measure the erd for me please
