Gonzo and blaq are sister companies, pretty much the same guys behind the two of them. Weve been working on a number of things for a while now, the bags mostly, but since we met that welder things are coming together on the frame end. It all takes a ton of time haha
Solid bmx in cali did this run for us.
In a few months were rolling out a line up of frames that a local framebuilder and friend of mine is welding. Were also doing our own powdercoating, so the color options will be vast.
Thats a really nice proto anyway. I like the design too - the top tube looks nice and long and the spanish BB compliments those butter smooth welds. Is it made from 4130 Cro-Mo tubing?
Are you looking to make these frames for full scale retail too?
4130 cromoly it is.
Were looking to have frames on our site this year, and later completes. Were going to work with shops on a fairly individual basis, but yes, we plan to have all of our gear in shops over the next year.
