yess, flat side is supposed to hit sprocket, no worries, these chains are mixed up alot

i was going to change my chain over but i looked at the directions that came with the chain(which you should have got if your chain was bought new) and we had it right ,that guy didn t know what he was talking about or he was f*cking with us

the round side is supposed to be on the sprocket, but it doesn't matter about direction. there is no forward or backward
