I love going DH. Just got back from Whistler B.C. Absolutly one of the sickest places to ride. I would like to travel to France and Switzerland to ride one day, but there are to many places to ride in Western Canada. Thanks for t he tip on the Mavic's.

I also ride an SS. Looking to save some weight! What's your impression on the Mavic Crossmax wheels? Are they worth the money you pay for?

Like them alot. I use them for light DH and FR.
They are strong, light and stiff.
For me and my type of riding I thing they are worth the money.
What type of riding do you do?

That's definitely not an X.0 shifter.

True...the X.0 shifter broke and I replaced it with a X9.
Nice to see that some people have good eyes!

I only notice things like that because I'm a bike mechanic, plus I've had my fair share of X.0 shifters.

Nope,not now. I had to do some minor fixes on the shock when I fitted it but now it runs perfect.
