naa thats pretty damn fair man, if you had say a sub you could take almost 3lbs off of that weight so it would be something like 24lbs complete with a brake!
I believe he's referring to the method by which you cut off the 104x4 tabs on the spider of the cranks and only use the mounts for the small (inner) ring. Saves a little bit of weight and makes an overall cleaner look.
