Now that I have a season on it just, a couple of small things the Gamut guide the chain forces its way in between the roller and the bash (minor annoyance) and I have dented the rear rim something fierce, it seems rather soft. I am looking at lacing up some 721's to a Hugi FR hub in the rear and a 340 in the front, and I am also considering a the Joplin post. All in all the bike is a blast, it goes down fast, and will climb willingly (even if the rider isn't).
one more question i promise, how doe's the rear travel feel in comparison to say your norco,i used to have a demo but it was just to big for my need's but i still like to dh and do some drop's.
The easiest way to put it is that I sold the A-line.
The rear suspension hasn't bottomed out on me yet, I have noticed that the square edge sensitivity is fantastic compared to the previous years version. I think that with the Totem on the front end that it is just a slightly lighter Demo 7.
Definitely personal taste, I rode the Totem all last season, and test riding the SX with the 36 just wasn't for me so I went to the Totem and the bike feels so much better.
She is under sprung at the moment (I am waiting on a spring) but I have never had a bike that pedals as well as this one does even under sprung. Now I can't wait for the snow to melt to hit dirt instead of urban.
