i sold it coz the swing arm was hanging of mate looks like the guy you bought it off has chaged it for a newer one... the front triangle is 04 the rear swing arm looks like its of a newer model maybe a patriot 66
yeah small chip next to the rebound adjuster and a little scrath on the bomber sticker !
but the steer tube is really short, well not reli but only just makes it to the top of my stem, and it doesnt have any spacers on it, so you would have to make it it will fit your frame !
lol ive been watching it on e-bay saw your 5th element thread then looked on your profile an saw me old rig id be tempted to sell that 5th element an buy a dhx 5 or similar to be fair have you seen the pics of the patriot on my profile? when i bought the frame it had an air shock on it
It depends alot on when you sell it - if you put it up for sale now you would struggle to get £600 for it as the market is shit (thus why you got it so cheap) but if you waited till the market picked up around £850! i know your only doing this to see what people think though , not actualy with a view to sell! so id value it at aroind 850 as thats what you'd get in a good market! all the comments saying £2000 tops and £1900+ obviosly have no idea of its true value, theres a nice 224 going on here for not much over a grand! hope this helps!
a 5th element is basically a manitou 6 way swinger mate if you go on the manitou site that should help or you could ring the guys at tf tuned there really helpfull
just been looking at this pic again and the shock is the wrong way round fella take it of refit it so that the piggy back is at the back that might help a little!
sorry should of put a comma in there! but its stupid when people say a rediculos value when its worth nothing near - there are top spec 224's going for less than that ammount on here!
but i did this to see what people's views are on it, no one is wrong as the guy i brought it off spent over £3000 on it, but unlucky for me its not worth that
i think i will just keep it for a minute tho i might sell and buy summin a little newer later on.
could you tell me what all the begin/end stroke is ?
its not the slurping nosie its a more flat griding sound under full compression !
hope this helps!
you wouldnt no what year it is.. thinks its around 04/05 but not sure ?
I worked in a bike store last summer and i would say that £1000 to £1500 tops is the best you could get.
on here about £900+
but i did this to see what people's views are on it, no one is wrong as the guy i brought it off spent over £3000 on it, but unlucky for me its not worth that
