wow, you've evn got a littel red rockshox repound adjuster knob. Sorry can't typw well, took a baseball to the right eye yeterday, 6 stitches, swolen shut. But yea sick collection.
Quite the stash you have there. Lot's of goodies in there.
I know what you mean by the LBS being full of people who don't know what they are talking about. I knew about 2 brands my LBS deals with before they knew it. I called and asked for the brand and they said they don't sell it. One month later they suddenly have a stock in the brand...
Do it yourself is the way to go. And online rocks for parts.
Please refer them to this picture and laugh at them. There are several different sizes in existence. Dan's has them among others. Maybe check Transition BMX as well.
Cheers. It is a bit excessive, but I will be using a lot of it for the Vajesty build this weekend. Also spare parts come in mighty handy when you break shit and I break enough parts to justify this.
It was the front brake on my Dob. One day it will be a front brake on another bike, for now it lives in here. I am keeping those pads for when my rear pads wear out. Sorry. None of it is for sale, it's all for my use only.
It is apart at the moment, but I have the parts for it and will build it back up when I have time. It is gonna look quite cool with it's new front wheel. Two of those boxes are headsets and one I can't remember what the other one is. I will check when I get home.
I go to my LBS to press or install the stuff that I will f*ck up. Other than that, I turn my own wrenches. The old man has a nice garage and set of tools too (mechanic). Regardless, some people are dumb, and should go the the LBS and NEVER work on their bike lol.
Neat. Dude my pics get an unusual amount of props too. Gary says it's a bug and I'm kinda inclined to believe him. I still hope there is a Lurker Propper.
Its a conspiracy lol, i get it on almost every pic i think so who no's, try it one of my pics to test your props, there are deffinatly people following us giving extra props aha, i'm not complaining though!
NS Cap. Duuuuh. I still can't completely decide on the Calibar or the District. District is a little wider at 27, where the Cali is 26.7. I was originally hoping for a 28 bar. Calibar is cheaper and lighter, though. Know anything about the Gusset Open Prison bars?
I would say go with the District bars. I like them a little bit better for shape and feel. (Nothing wrong with the Calibars). I haven't ridden a set of Prison bars, but I have heard good reviews. Nem. Pro. Wheezy bars should be considered (despite their weight). Even Bear Bikes has a nice high rise bar if you can find it. Cheers Sherbet.
I looked at the bears bars, but they were way too shady. My totally when I was ordering them came to 101. I asked if I could do 100 even on the bars and shipping. I was told no, and 103 would be the price. Wat?
2 dollar mark up for talking smack LOL. You've been penalized!! Yeah, good call not ordering their shit. Just get the Districts (this year's are nice and wide).
Yeah. Going to raw the frame and bar when it gets in.
The Open Prison looked nice as it's 20 cheaper, and 50 lighter. Wasn't sure of the strength for street, though.
