We attatch a tractor PTO to the driveshaft and grab hold of the rope from the bottom of the hill and it pulls you up. No pushing back up the hill.

wtf- i live on a farm , and without a gearbox it would be way to fast! good idea in theory tho!just wont work tho

It works perfectly, we leave the tractor on tickover and speed is fine. Have a look at this video, the uplift is shown working on it about 1/2 wat through.

oh right you have an old tractor - we use modern tractors mostly 07/08
