Drill the sheared bolt out and put another bolt in job sorted.
A tf tuned will cost 80 notes so that's 160 quid in a pair of 08 boxxer
forks that's a good deal. If you can get a boxxer fork for less than that I'll
buy them for you myself!!! And there's not a mark on the lowers or the stanchions
Lads lads stop arguing over the forks. Don't know what rolto1822
is on about I've never said anything about the internals being damaged
it's a seal that's blown that's all. If you do the maths it's a good deal a tf tune
is 80 notes and the seal is another 20 plus the 80 notes that I'm asking for the forks
that totals 180 quid for a pair of tf tuned 08 boxxers. So all you people that are offering
silly money for them don't bother.you know there cheap otherwise you wouldn't interested would you lads!!!!
It's a common problem with these boxxers plus arniedj is right
I could make more money if I split them the bottom crown alone is 140
quid from rockshox the lowers are like new too so get good money for them too
and there's always people who are wanting stanchions. Anyhow I don't need the money
and can't be arsed splitting anyway.
theyre f*cked over races... you're not going to get much more than that a tf tune will cost you about £50 plus parts which is likely to be more than just an oil change... a sheared bolt on the crown (pretty bad idea trusting having one less bolt, thats a third of the clamping on one stanchion not to mention riding them like that would invalidate your warranty
fair play the lowers yes, the stanchions on their own aren't worth much at all cause they're not really any use on their own. The internals are the problem so not really, and it's not like they're the teams or wcs either.
dw it's cool, i'm sure you won't have much problem selling them
may i ask why you don't just get them done yourself, then sell??
Cheers.
