 Indeed.
  • 1 0
 B&.
  • 1 0
It took me sooooo long to figure out what "B&" meant. Sherb, you are on top of your lingo sir. Salute

Did lights just get the ban hammer?
  • 1 0
Yes. An hour. When I say something I mean it. Haha.
  • 1 0
Let that be a warning to the rest of you!! Attention
  • 1 0
 Whoa, Recklessness respecting rules ?
Thats a first, well you know what they say, theres a first time for everything.
lol
  • 1 0
I respect as much as I have to. No more, no less.
  • 2 0
As much as ya have to to not get banned? Haha
  • 1 0
Correct. That, and I'm helpful sometimes because I truly love biking.
  • 7 0
Your spokes are hoodlum!! You are a gangster. Eek
  • 4 4
 Rainbow Ti! Fgt G!
  • 1 0
I love how you spent roughly 1 grand on a wheelset but couldnt justify 40 bucks extra to save a half ounce. Maybe on that day you didnt take a poo? How are those wheels holding up so far?
  • 0 0
Do ya mean on the rims? Yah, there were a few issues with getting them in, so I just went for the 6000 series. They're holding up great. I can't see why everyone calls 'em weak.
  • 0 0
Full ti spokes for front AND rear wheel? Eek I hope you have extra ti-spokes...

This just seems like a bad idea. And I'm being serious when I say that.
  • 1 1
I expect to EVENTUALLY break a spoke or two, but I know people who have gone 3-4 years on ti rear wheels and replaced only rims and hubs. They're hardly weak.
  • 1 0
Its not the breaking that gets you. its the stretching. -a ti spokes rider.
  • 1 0
Uh, completely disagree there. Once they stretch and set you're good. They are definitely less strong than steel though, so they can be prone to snapping. -a ti spoke wheel builder.
  • 1 0
maybe its just me then. but some of my threads are maxxed out from the stretch.
  • 1 0
Running long spokes? You can also go to a store and have your spokes rethreaded deeper.
  • 1 0
I doubt it, its a factory atomlab wheelset. spokes cut specifically for the rims. and sadly we dont have a spoke threader at the shop.
  • 1 0
Dude... That grave was 3 years old...
  • 1 0
Dude... will you take what I have in me left pocket and a piece of chewed gum for a spoke?
  • 1 0
i got a shadow halflink and maybe sum cash?
is there anything specific ur loking for?
  • 1 0
No thank you. Nothing specific, no.
  • 1 0
 k thanks newayz man
  • 1 0
hey how about a brand new fly headset for ur mac dirt?
its new but jsut dont fit my bike
  • 1 0
 No thank you.
  • 1 0
I see the Cap is coming along well.
  • 0 2
 It's done man. Done.
  • 5 0
bikes are never done. everyone says that and the in a week or two BAM! new parts. its just the way of the world
  • 0 1
There's only a few upgrades I can make. Ti spindle and a new fork. I don't really need to change anything for a very long time.
  • 0 0
 Who said anything about need?
  • 5 1
 Your mom.
  • 0 0
i think many people would appreciate a "how to" vid on wheel lacing/trueing Big Grin
  • 0 0
I get a friend to build my wheels. He makes super solid wheels.
  • 0 0
 Fawcett???
  • 0 0
 Correct.
  • 0 0
what did you get for rims? and what did you pay for the rear profile hub if you dont mind me asking?
  • 0 0
I got all the stuff on Albes, can check all the prices there, as I don't know offhand. Primo 6000 series rims. There's a full pic in my albums.
  • 0 0
i just saw the pic haha, looks sweet dude, why didnt you get the 7000 series rims, are they not stronger then the 6000's?
  • 0 0
I was going to get the 7000, but they're not $140 each and I couldn't justify spending $40 more per rim for literally half an ounce. They're the exact same design, so they're the same strength.
  • 0 0
oh i see, well sick wheelset dude.
  • 0 0
 Thanks mate.
  • 1 0
any trades for the mac dirt?
  • 1 0
What have ya got to offer? No trades tire wise.
  • 1 0
 them spokes are $2.75 each!
  • 1 0
 Something like that.
  • 1 0
how much for the hubs and spokes?
  • 1 0
Selling the rear hub for $400. It's a full ti profile. Spokes not for sale. Check out transition and 3ride, they have the spokes there. About $100 for a 18 pack. So a bit over $400 retail for those.
  • 1 0
laws like $200 worth of spokes there
  • 1 0
 More than that.
  • 1 0
well im just goin off danscomp, its about 2.90 per spoke.
  • 1 0
Then move it to canadian, add shipping and handling, then add duties. Well over $200.
  • 1 0
no i did the math... its actualy 2.50 per spoke USD and about 2.90 CAD and on danscomp there is no shipping if your purchase is over $85 so its about 215 CAD
  • 1 0
You still need to pay duties. About 240+.
  • 1 0
yeah but i dont realy care about duties, thats just life cant do anything about it.
  • 1 0
But ya gotta pay 'em to order from dans...
  • 1 0
18 spokes for $119.99 off Transition plus shipping. Lets make it easy and keep it in Canada.
  • 1 0
Cheaper in the states. Waaaaaay cheaper.
  • 1 0
why are you selling your hub?
  • 1 0
 Because I need money. Haha.
  • 1 0
Dude this hub is worth my bike..... Lolz
  • 1 0
whell then what? are you not going to ride your bmx?
  • 1 0
no im just saying that the hub costs more than half my bike
  • 1 0
 I was talking to sherb
  • 1 0
I might buy a new hub one day. Lol?
  • 1 0
you are one luck person for that sort of kit
  • 1 0
 I suppose.
  • 1 0
dam this pic has as much comments as a POD
  • 1 0
Sadly, my pics get a lot of comments.
  • 1 0
can you sell only the spokes
  • 1 0
 $250 for 36.
  • 1 0
 Ti spokes???
  • 7 2
Yes. My spokes belong in the gay rights thread.
  • 3 0
Razz Dayumm, first I've heard of someone actually buying them.
  • 1 2
More people need to. They look amazing.
  • 1 0
More people don't buy them because they are ridiculously expensive. Even at my cost they are about $50 for a box (which only has half a wheel's worth of spokes in it).
  • 1 1
At cost here they're almost $70 for an 18 pack.
  • 1 0
 Yeah, about $50 USD.
  • 1 0
They're cheaper than that in the states. A 36 pack at retail down there for a BMX bike is about $80. You may mean MTB, so I don't know. I got all my spokes for about $200 CAD after taxes and shipping. In Canada, it'd have been over $500. They're $120 for an 18 pack, so $480 in spokes before tax.

We get hit pretty hard on Ti stuff up here.
  • 1 0
thats just absurd was it worth it?
  • 0 0
 Are they those Marwai ones?
  • 0 2
 Yes.
  • 0 0
Schweet. Fist I've seen those before. Expensive as hell from Transition.
  • 0 2
Yeah, Albes has them for cheapish.
  • 0 0
 Better than 120$ for 18.
  • 0 2
Much, much better. My wheelset was about $200 for the spokes. All 72.
  • 0 0
Puurtty good. My back hub cost about that much. I tihnk you have me beat in expensive wheels.
  • 0 2
 Yeah. I love it, though.
  • 0 0
 That's what counts.
  • 0 0
where can you buy them from ??
  • 0 0
I bought them from Albes, but many places sell them.
  • 0 0
DAAAAMMMN! Those will look so sick!
  • 0 0
 Already does.
  • 0 0
Very true, built them up then?
  • 0 0
Yep. I'll try to take pics of my wheels later. Gotta clean them anyways. Did some DJ today and they got mad dusty.
  • 0 0
Sweet, can't wait, cost a bomb to build up I presume?
  • 0 0
It was a lot, but it wasn't as much as people expect. This wheelset in Canada would be pushing $1200. I ordered stuff from the states, where Ti is cheap, and saved some money. I'd say I spent just under a grand.
  • 0 0
 £550, Jesus.
  • 0 0
how much for 36 of those spokes
  • 3 0
 Check google.
  • 0 0
I'mma ban the next kid who does that. You too Terri.

  • 1 1
 Whered u get those spokes
  • 1 0
Thanks for asking in English. Ables.com
  • 1 1
How much you pay for those spokes?
  • 1 0
Its been covered. Read the comments.
  • 1 0
 Oh okay. $200.
  • 1 0
That's more than retail. Hinting that they're not actually for sale.
  • 1 0
how much do they actually save in weight? about.
  • 1 0
About a quarter pound per wheel in rotational weight, plus they're stronger.
  • 1 0
kk its not a lot.. well half a pound for wheelset. its not bad but for the price ouch.. Razz
  • 1 0
Well, they make a very, very bling final upgrade.
  • 1 0
yeah they are nice and if u got the money why not Razz ... random question: do you know how much ti spindle will save about? im curious i dont know much about ti other then its lighter and the price.
  • 1 0
A quarter to a half pound saved on a ti spindle. $140 or so.
  • 1 0
kk next year i might get one for my macneil conjoined. that would be a light set up. its its half a pound its ok but less its not that much i find. 1664 makes one that is like 115$. pretty cheap.
  • 1 0
 Conjoined cranks scare me.
  • 1 0
 nah man the safe.
  • 1 0
I've personally seen a few break, so...
  • 1 0
 yeah i beleive it.

  • 3 2

  • 2 1

  • 2 1
if thats how you spell "no" in german, then yes. i had my dogs trained in german, so i didnt have to spell it out for them. hahaha... so, Neine... cool. how do you spell lay? Blieben?
  • 1 0
 As in lay down? Legen
  • 1 0
actually its nein. Ich spreche deutsch und ja es ist sehr hässlich und dumm, aber ich muss es in der Schule nehmen Frown

oh and also what nips are those?
  • 1 0
Think they were marwi. And to answer your other question, I'd do it again, but it's barely worth it.
  • 2 2
 thats some goomba shit
  • 2 4
 Is that good?
  • 4 2
 certainly not a bad thing

  • 4 0

  • 2 0
 Check my buy/sell.
  • 0 3
ill givve you 100 for the green mcneil hub

That's a full Ti profile hub. To answer your question, no.

Please go and check someone's buy/sell before asking to buy parts that they're not selling, it's VERY annoying.
