The fork worked great and felt nice, but personally, I wouldn't buy a Marzocchi fork if I was upgrading. Somehow a rock got through the seals and into the fork leg, that shouldn't happen. Also there was a deffect in my left fork leg that left two scratches on the stancions, so I have sent it away for repair.
