the skateboard trucks are an awesome idea. but what about the skis rotating when you get some air? you should have a strap (with just a bit of slack) from the front of the front ski to the arch of the front suspension, and an other from the front of the back ski to the bottom bracket shell (also with a bit of slack). then the skis wont be able to do anything but stay level.

 your project is inspiring to me. but did you rember to change the oil to something less viscous for cooler temps? you can easily blow seals when the oil begins to gel.

 oh i see, there's no bearings either? its just bolted straight on. hmm cool. nevermind then.
