ok cheers for that. so who did the powder coat job on it ? was it a pro job ? was there a risk they could of enealed the frame (HEATED UP TO MUCH) ? are there any dents or cracks ? sorry for all the questions but might pass frame on to my son so just making sure.
no problems, yes the powdercoat was a professional job, i stripped the paint myself so that I knew it was back to bare metal using nitromorse (sandblasting doesn't always take off all the paint, especially as it was original orange paint which is already powdercoated), then I took it to a professional powder coating company, I would give you a website but they didn't have one, I just heard of them at the bike shop I used to work at. They used zinc primer first, then powdercoated it. I asked if it would anneal the frame first but they assured me the temperature didn't get high enough. No dents or cracks, its in near mint, if not mint condition. your welcome to come and view first, Ive nothing to hide about it. Hope this answers your questions
