I'm not usually in the practice of uploading pictures from websites, but this build is just too nice. Pretty much exactly how I would build my new Jackal except for the fork.

The build you are talking about seems siick. Except the guide looks way too big for the bike.

new ones are under 5 lbs i believe

Not bad, I read somewhere that they were 6.3, but that might have the outdated weight from the 08, I think the frame is 4.8 lbs.

Yeah I'm guessing that they're pretty light, especially versus the older Jackal frame.

Thanks. I think I would only change the fork, cranks, pedals, seatpost, and seat. Probably do a new lowered Revelation, XT cranks, Wellgo MG-1 pedals, Thomson Masterpiese, and a WTB Silverado saddle.

Yeah I'm pretty stoked on them. They seem like a slightly stronger version of the Reba.
