Um i should payyou to spray my bike flat black because i don't want to cause i dont want to screw up..... is it even that hard?
  • 10
it is easy to screw up. i recommend not painting it at all though because spray paint usually isn't too tough, and it chips and scratches really easily. this paintjob was pretty much ruined in like a week.
  • 10
oh really that sucks but nice paint job oh and r u sure you dont have to ride brakes at joyride?
  • 10
yes i'm positive. that used to be the rule for the first few months they were open but they don't care anymore.
  • 10
oh ok i just didn't want to go up there and have to have brakes... oh when was the last time you goup and how often do you go?
  • 10
the last time i went was a few weekends ago i think. i go maybe once every week or two.
  • 10
Oh really i have to wait till the end of july to go. whats the best day to go? and i want to buy a black fly frame do you know any i could get or should i just get the vere radia becaus emy bike now has something wrong with the cranks and a warped rim so i dont know what to do.. or I heard about your frame that sucks?
  • 10
there really isn't a "best day". its really hit or miss on how crowded it is. and yeah, fly makes a few black frames, but if other parts of your bike are screwed up i would get the verde radia. and yeah i snapped my frame, it does suck.
  • 10
Oh ok sounds great, what are the prices for joyride because im confussed.
  • 10
Oh and the verde has a 20.5" frame would that be too big from a 19",, or would i get used to it pretty fast and i'm worried i won't be able to bunny hop as high or will i be fine>
  • 10
you have to buy a $5 membership the first time you go. so thats on top of the $20 for a weekday or $25 for a weekend. and i don't think it would be too big, you would get used to it pretty fast.
  • 10
oh ok so it is going to be a good complete i won't have to worry about to much right. you said it was one of the best completes. And im coming down to porthope next week to ride around maybe with friends but do you know any good spots.
  • 10
yeah it is one of the best completes. and i would show you where the good spots are but i blew my knee out again so i can't ride for a few months.
  • 10
oh ok the chrome looks pretty sick on the verde. oh and when your knee is better can i come down and you can show me some spots. How did you blow it again?
  • 10
its probably going to be a few months until its better again, but if you can wait that long then i would show you some spots then. and i was tailwhipping a jump and put my foot down, and i wasn't wearing my knee brace.
  • 10
oh painful? oh and i can wait but i will try to learn new things before i ride with you, i dont want to look like a tool lol. your just so good how long have you been biking i have been for 7 months all together riding bmx.

DAMN!! thats sick man, you coming into town today??
  • 10
thanks adam. i'm actually not coming into town but i am going to cobourg later tonight...
  • 10
did you raw the frame before painting it or did you just paint over?BTW it looks hella sick
  • 10
 painted over.
  • 10
sweet, how long did it take to paint it?? i want to paint my frame but idk what colour yet
  • 10
like 2 hours. i painted the frame, forks, bars, cranks, bb spacer, seat clamp, sprocket, crank arm bolt, rear hub cone, and stem flat black, and the chain and headset dust cap fluorescent orange. it dried super fast and i put it together when it wasn't even really dry yet.
  • 10
it definitly needs a bit more orange. maybe paint like your barends, seatpost clamp and spokes aswell?
  • 10
how about orange grips, orange clamp and maybe orange hubs? i would keep the rims black if i were you.
  • 10
no do that but with orange grips and stem.
  • 10
 no that's too much orange.
  • 10
well dont paint your rims orange then. just like the hubs maybe or not even
