This wide angle lens makes the back wheel look huge! never fear they are the same size in reality... anyway here is my mighty steed pimped out like never before, I am loving it I must say! Riding like a dream, all set for Canada next year now...? aaiiii :-D
haha! mine is called poka yoke - i bought it off my friend a couple years ago and he'd already named her. He said she's a japanese kung fu demon, and apparently poka yoke is a Japanese engineering term for "no mistakes" haha...which is cool cos no mistakes = a good run on bike :-D Also yeah Sam has basically almost brought me round to the idea we're goin to Canada for a year startin next summer so woopwoop for Canada 2010!
sweet rebuild. i think thats the same year patriot as my buddy george.
they go for ages. quality bike i didn't know the made a 29 by 26 er........ha
Canada man i want to go there so bad it almost hurts.....
one day.
have fun
that is a good idea. i was curious to know if the upgrade i got on my 5th element is the same. i sent mine to the broken bike and kyle tossed in a shim stack damper and removed the spv similar damper unit. he said its pretty much a dhx 5.0 now. although mine only cost me 100$ for a full rebuild and new damping unit. been going strong ever since.
stefan-ram: haha no worries hotbikerkeeler: havent had a problem with the shock but i dont go off big enough jumps on it probably. The bike made a helluva noise when I threaded the cables through the swingarm recently, but now its got some plastic tubing round to soak up the rattling and its much quieter...
At the precise moment this photo was taken no the cables were not threaded through the swingarm as anyone who is not blind can see.... however very shortly after it was taken (perhaps even the same day) ROCKSTORM (not me) threaded the cables through the swingarm and now they run through the swingarm
