Why would he get fatter tires? for more weight, a bulky ride and more tread to catch all in the name of having a street bike look like a DH? there is no reason to pass 2.3" in a DJ bike.

Ok, I failed on that one, but...you;ve gotta agree with em that the front tire kinda kills the flow of the bike

Not really, the flow of the bike would be killed if it looked like a freeride machine. More then that, the flow of the bike is how it rides and how well its ridden, and im sure he doesn't need a 2.7" tire for that.
