Some little review. I ride it ony two times. What can I say about it? For sure it is plush, smooth etc. Is it a heaven when compare to DHX? Well, I'm not sure. Of course it is much more sensitive and way better in methods of tune. But, for normal riders like me who don't like to mess with shock (as I like to set and forget) it isn't a so much great shock. It is great (maybe the best rear shock) but I didn't find so much differences in riding to feel that CCDB isn't over priced.

As I wrote at the beggining I ride it only two times and I don't have much of experience. I'm sure that a better rider will be much more satisfact with this shock.

Is there enough cleareance between reservoir and the plastic shock protector? It seems to be too close.

It's enough. It looks like shock and protector touch themselves but it is a nice space (just like Giant known ccdb sizes before it was made Wink ). Only issue is that to tune it You must unscrew protector.
