yes you are correct. the dropouts have 1.7" of adjustability to them, the DT is hydroformed hexagonal shaped and the BB is very low (designed for dual slalom and 4X races so it corners like a scared cat. All of our bikes use low BB and short c-stay/wheelbases).

 doesn't look anything like it, way different. the DT on the Orange is even larger than ours. Orange probably uses the same tube supplier we do, besides, it IS a crazy strong tube.

 Orange use sheet metal and fold it, plus I just realised yours has double top-tubes and Hz d/o's, my bad! I checked out some of the larger pics on your profile and this pic actually doesn't do the frame justice, its got some nice features! - my apologies!

 Tanto was made for 4X/Slalom racing or dirt jumping

 Tanto is a short japanese blade, similar to a dagger. As far as I can tell one ghost is basing most of their names off feudal japanese weapons, which is sweet. And the tanto is by FAR at the top of my to-get-list.

 The soul of the samurai is in every bike (we actually put the samurai code of honor on every bike). I am a Bushido myself and the company is named after my dog Ghost who was named after the samurai myth of the Ghost Dog who is the spiritual protector of the samurai.

So yeah.. we have the Tanto, Wakizashi, Katana, Longbow and soon Musashi (after the greatest swordsman who ever lived) and the Genken which is the Japanese name for war dog. Not all of our bikes will be named for Samurai weapons or themes however. We have the MDC (Morrow Dirt Club) our 29er "Klunker" frame, our Proletariat commuter frame and the Malcolm(C)X our soon to be Cyclocross/aggressive commuter frame

 For weight, I do hope it's at least sub 5lbs. The Commencal VIP 4x one is 4.2 lbs, you have the blander ti at 3.4 lbs, Banshee Amp 4.4lbs, the Yeti dj is 5lbs but can still take an incredible beating, and has amazing race geo, the Santa Cruz Chameleon as a large is 4.6lbs (that bike can handle everything, and ride it well), and the one of the best all around dj/4x frames out there the Specialized P3 4.6lbs.

And I'm pretty sure every frame I just mentioned is under 680, except the blender ti.

 5.1 lbs with rear dropout kit and stainless steel axle. Complete bike as seen on our web site (the long, black one with the 36 TALAS, SLX/King hubs/DT 5.1D rims and 2-ply tires weighed in at 28 lbs

 Colin being that you are 15 I'm sure you don't have the cash to build up this bike with the top of the line components. And why should you try to back up this bike if you have never owned or ridden one, purely based on fanboyism? And the "you get to build it up with better parts" thing would only be valid if it didn't cost $680.

 well the funny thing is that i have a very well paying job at a bike shop that gives me 70% discounts on anything that QBP has in stock so im pretty sure i have the finances and resources to build up a very nice bike. and i am a supporter of many small bike companies such as sinister, spooky bikes, and one ghost aswell. i just like them better than the commercial bikes out there. so dont question my own opinion. and im saying that if you had the money to build it up really well then it would be an even more amazing bike. so go hate somewhere else

 Or you could support a small bike company like Charge bikes that don't just rip a taiwan's companies bike (the tank hone) and have one of their sponsored riders say it was designed from the ground up.

That and cool you work at bike shop, most consumers are going to have a different outlook than you.

 I love opinions and the world needs them All of our bikes are designed from the ground up.

We bought a Tank Hone to see how the concentric BB worked and that was where that ended. Tank doesn't even build the Wakizashi for us. The Tanto is 100% what I wanted to see in a dual slalom bike. I built the first one in 2006 and took it to Interbike then. It was called the Double Dutch and was in MBA on page 42. go look up the issue. This final version of the Tanto was designed to be light and fast in every regard to the sports of slalom/4X and it just happens that it is a really nice dirt jumper also.

I took the design of the twin top tubes from the old Torker (bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?pid=1490770) it was my favorite bike back then so if you want to say the Tanto is a rip off of a bike you can go there and that is it.

For the record, One Ghost Industries hasn't made a dime yet, we have been around for 4 years but 2010 is the first year we are selling bikes to the public. It takes years to make a bike company and hundreds of thousands of dollars in r&d, engineering, testing, insurance, liability, licenses, tooling... the list is extensive and I know this because I am the founder and owner of the company.

I am not here to make bikes for everyone, just make bikes I think are better than what is out there. I have been riding and racing for over 20 years and feel that I have a pretty strong handle on what is out there.

 I try, thanks. It is the pundits out there that get under my skin a bit. I don't care if someone hates our bikes or loves them but if they have no personal connection to a bike, have b]never seen one in person or ridden one and they know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about what they are talking about then they should keep their opinions to themselves until they ask for proper information from the direct source. Our phone and e-mail are always on and 90% of the time the person on the other end is me, the owner of the company and designer of all our bikes. We're small and we do care. I think it shows in our commitment to quality, company and to our customers.

 my wheels pro2/DT/Sun EQ29 weigh less than that and cost 1/3rd the price - , mega fail on Crankbrothers part considering those wheels probably aren't even as stiff or strong and cost a fortune to repair when they bend!

 In conclusion then, the wheels aren't the lightest AND the weight is exactly where you don't want it. On the other hand they do at least look stupid so they aren't trying to masquerade as something there not.

 Frames are available in any color and you can put whatever you want on tit as far as parts. We will have 4 different complete bikes available too soon. Still working on color options for them all. Each will be different with a different spec to them including one DJ specific model with only a rear brake and one gear.
