Oh and as for brakes i know people who use juicy 3's and 5's and they often come up at good prices at merlin/crc.
Failing that splash out and get a pair of minis

Nope XT's are good for me Strokers are more for stopping power but its not needed that much on a light bike like this...+ No Squeaks!

I have a set of xt brakes i use on my commuter.. pre servo wave. Get on rather well with them.

Its either Hayes Stroker Ryde or Hayes Stroker Gram for me the gram are better but undecided yet
