The backyard pump track is a work in progress in its first season. I'm still fine tuning and building, and I just recently scored some dirt and will begin to build it up more. Almost all of what you see here is from digging and moving "lawn", almost nothing "imported" at this point.

you shouldnt need to bringin drit just dig on the inside of the berms and along the out side of the pump track also dig some drainage so when it rains you can stiil go out the next day and ride so with all of that you should have well enough dirt

Thanks for the tip. It's a little hard to tell from this side but I have a 12" culvert running under the horizontal stone seen in the back straight away and most of the track is set to drain through it, but this turn in the foreground is going to be a challenge for drainage. At least you can still ride around the puddle with no issues.
