 no i just went ahead and built them, there were other jumps in the area that had been there years and the council didn't seem to care. Recently the council have made them official and we're in the process of getting funding to build some new lines.

 we're working on a big line, will make these ones look small

 lol i cant even imagine tht urs are the biigest jumps ive ever seen, and how are you going to get enough speed for the big line? how do you get enough speed as it is? actually i cant remember how big the 1st is lol . i think u shud make like a slideshow video or something tht shows pics of the jumps, pumps etc in order because its hard to tell which is which wen u look at them on pinkbike (jst a suggestion) lol

how long will the big line take and how many in the line are there going to be?
i drew out a plan for my djs the other day hopefull going to have ten in one line eventually, but progress is so slow with the weather atm and stuff got a few dig seshs planned though we should get the first 3 finished soon, then: roller double, double then we are going to try and build a hip

 ok well, hopefully we will get enough speed the run up is quite steep for the big line. Getting enouh speed for this line is easy because the 1st jump is a smallish speed jump. yeh a walk through of the line or something would be cool, theres pics of every jump already on here and i normally say what jump it is in the decription. haha how long im not sure we're on the second at the mo but we havent clayed the 1st yet. not sure about how many either probably 5 or 6. yeh the weathers shit, iv started a plan as well im gonna get it on here one day. yeh build a hip for sure there really fun.

 any tips on building a hip?
ur lucky with the run up on ur jumps, ours u just pedal like a bitch and hope u make it lol.
the eventual plan is to make two doubles before what is the 1st atm, then build after the hip two more doubles (or 3 i cant remember) then u can chose just to ride back to the top or to go over a massive pump/pit thing and have a massive trick jump as the last in the line. it will be pretty sweet if it all works out.

and how do u judge how much speed you are going to need when theres like a 20 foot gap on the big line? just hit it and find out?

 um iv not built many hips just the one in the main line, its just the same as other jump only you pivot the landing and maybe make it not dead inline with the take off but slightly over in the direction your hiping. and yeh we have to pedal quite a bit for the mainline the run up is only slightly sloped. yeh pretty much for 1st time doing the 1st jump in the line you just got to guess how much to pedal, but then for the 2nd and 3rd etc you get a good idea how big to make the gaps by looking at the jump before. i dont like testing new jumps its pretty scary im kind of hoping that danny pace will do the testing he's a bit of a nutter he'll hit anything

 lol k cool, it will take us 3-4 dig seshs to have a hip done, still got a lot of pit work to do, along with building up the third making a roller double and 4th, bombholes in between all of them. well ill keep the blog updated and tell u next time we mKe some progress
