and you'll get a major problem when you get into the travel of the shock... put the rear wheel further away from the seat tube

Its only 30-40mm of stroke, it will bottom before it hits the seat tube

yeah but 2" before it hits the seat tube it'll grind the tyre out on the seat

it'll put all the stress on the shock pivot and bolt, rather than through the shock stroke
