sure, nothin wrong with the geometry just the rear travel is a bit small. thinkin about replacing it with a fox or rs coil to see how would work..

The largest travel fork Specialized will warrant is 160mm. If your frame is damaged, cracked, or snapped because of using a long travel fork NOT DESIGNED FOR THE USE OF THE BIKE then Spesh will have nothing to do with it.

Time passes and I decided to experience a little light dh.Buy a new frame(?) cause the pike wasnt f*ckin enough.I think pitches can have 15% more front travel than the stock, thats like 165. sorry but ive saw a few ppl use 40's on an sx, which has about the same travel, and just because specilized wont cover the frame if it breaks with there forks, doesnt mean they cant be used, i mean ffs, your warently expires if you use a jet wash, its not your bike or your choice, so let him ride his bike.
