Apparently They went bankrupt because they lied about a "secret" heatreating process that made the frames super strong and ment they could use less material. But it was normal heat treating meaning the tubing was far too thin and they snaped and failed. According to some they are still trading under a different name but i cant remember it.
Ummm I think that's something to do with it, they definately claimed soemthing to do with the heat treating that is false. I think there's many reasons why they went bust, mainly that there costs were huge and not helped by how many repairs they had and they only made like 300 of these frames.
There costs were huge because of warranties...BECAUSE THESE FRAMES SNAP! They made false claims which resulted in terrible products. You admit they had to do loads of repairs... They didnt sell completes.. so frames... If there "repairing" frames they can only have cracked or snapped... You just pretty much admitted that you know there products break and are unbelievably week
Yeah I think its a well known fact that they are weak and yeah they do snap. However, not all of them will and it has to be at the RIDERS disctetion and CHOICE to use this frame, evn in the understanding that it will break. So for example, if your gonna jump huge gaps and ride with hard landings, obviuosly, this is not the right frame for you, but it will hold up for treatment such as park, it has to come from a sensible choice from the rider,
uk frames are too light in my opinion. Also its the complete opposite to street and its not good. I guess it might be alrigt if your a smooth park rider but frames dont need to be that light anyway
how can warranty work when they dont make them no more? the comapny went down drain cos that many frames snapped and so many warranty claims were made they ran out of money
Can you see my point?
