Looks like a combination of curves and Unsharp mask, it looks good, what did you do?

yeah, kinda is something like that, just go a different way round.
I duplicate the layer, set blend mode to overlay & then do shadow highlights on it & then drop the opacity till it looks natural (normally between 20% & 40% depending on the shot & how you do the S/H). That's pretty much all I do to my shots these days.
