How come no one's mentioned Twombolts? I'm riding them and super sturdy, lifetime warranty's good too. Also keep in mind of maybe the Stolen Team cranks. It has a good history with breaking and is covered with lifetime warranty now.

theres so many good cranks out there if your calling profiles overpriced look at DXR's XD but profiles are really expensive cranks i'd get the hollowbites personally the only crank ive ran which is close to profiles "fine spline" system is the DK social cranks and they failed on me (i think the spindle wore away on one side or something) ive never ran hollowbites but to look at them they seem strong as hell but they're quite expensive too especially with the Ti kit.

I'm 6'6" - 275lbs and ride profile DJ cranks on my street/park bike. These are a little heavier than the regular profiles, but they're the strongest cranks out there. They were expensive, but profile is closing them out. They're only $75 for the arms untill they're all gone. Here's the link:

The BEST? Primo hollowbites, setup with a full ti setup. Bolts and spindle. It's the lightest rideable freestyle setup out there, and it's CRAZY strong.

I'd recommend Device. They're better in pretty much every way.

I've always known profiles as pretty solid cranks, price doesn't matter too much cause i work at a shop now that gets me great prices. Devices seem alright but i wanna know what the best crank out there is so i don't gotta worry about it happening again for a while

I'd rather ride device cranks, even at the same price. They're lighter, stronger, cheaper, and have a better company backing them. I'd ride profile cranks for sure, they're good cranks, there's just better out there.

im probaly just gonna end up with profiles because my boss is always pushing the american made stuff, ill probably get a better deal on em too, what do you think is THE BEST crank

fly is the way to go. or profile

Profile arms are and ounce heavier a piece, cost more, and are more known to break. Profile's good, just incredibly overpriced.

stolen team cranks are amazing, they have lifetime warranty and apparently have only ever had 1 pair sent back. the only down point is having a gay bmx company written on your cranks.
