What's the point of taking a road motorcycle wheel probably worth a lot more than this mod ified mountainbike frame and spec 10 times over,and then doing this with it all,where is the need in it,why,whats it's use,it's utter crap is wht it is.

 How would you snap the head tube...? It wouldn't when it came off the chinese assembley line, it wont now either. Unless you are actually doing more then a curb.

 Oh, in that case no doubt it would snap the HT, if an 8 inch rotor and a good caliper can snap a Boxxer WC (cant remember the name of the caliper) no doubt these massive beasts wont break something. But cruising around on it probably has a slim chance of breaking anything

 Cornering... I believe it would corner pretty well as long as, like you say, it stayed together. There's so much grip/surface area with those tires. Think about how well you can corner your mtb on pavement, even with dirt tires. It would take a nice long, fairly steep twisty route, to really know.

 originally from derbyshire...working in china as a teacher for now...but going to work for a business next month

 well trial biking is big here..not really where i live but i can hop on a bus to the nearest big city and theres loads of riders...parts are somewhat cheap too. haha of course i miss the old gaffer...looking into a business job so i can get more chances to go home...and to get away from kids all the time
