lol; no way, i droped a hd cam, while biking going down a hill, and the case and camera where fine, i give them mad props, I trust them, with my stuff for sure
Deffo. It's AWESOME having the hard case, you can sling it around everywhere and not worry, put it in the back of a truck, etc. Almost had it hit today filming for the ski park when some dumb-ass there rolled a 2' diameter tree round down the trail at like 20mph, but it probably would have been fine. The Nikon in the backpack however...
Yeah, it does. And for sure I'll squeeze everything in there real tight, that's why I'm waiting for everything to come. I'll also make sure there's room for a shotgun mic for the camera just in case.
Yeah, I'm going to put the filters in vertical, but leave them out of the cases they came in because they are really big and don't securely hold the filters. I'm going to make little slots for each filter and then line them with lens-cleaning cloth instead. And I'm not going to make slots for the cables, I just put them on there for the shot. If I need to bring the cables somewhere I can just set them in there and close the lid. I'll post a pic of everything in the case when I do that.
But I find that pelican's a re rather useless when travelling
