I would keep the wife, if you ever have to get this motor worked on you better have an empty visa, unless of course your wife is already maxing that out then i would say its a fair trade!
Haha yea, they are an expensive motor to get worked on. On the plus side the heads are aluminum as opposed to cast iron like cummins and Powerstroke, Its nice to be able to lift them out of the motor compartment by hand rather then having to get the engine hoist in there.
I work at Piers Diesel research a Diesel performance shop in Port Kells. Powerstroke heads are about 100lbs each and a cummins is about 140, I'm not sure about the Dmax heads but they are quite light in comparison I can lean over the engine compartment and lift them out on my own with two hands.
