New DIM (Did-It-Myself) steadicam. Works really well and it compatible with my wide angle lens, too. Test vids should be up soon. All of the materials you see here (minus the old ball-head tripod I already had and the camera) cost about $20.

 yeah, technical (brand-name) term is steadicam or steadycam. So you can shoot handheld with zero bumps and extra motion or shoot from a car or airplane/heli. First use will be for a ski video for ski behinds and in-air off jump shots.
