there is a peice that goes in there and holds it but i cant find one but i will get something in there before i ride it so that doesnt happen

Oh, I see. If it's a top cap ur missin', just go to ur local shop, and have them look in their main catolog(like here in the US is QBP, IDK what they use in CAN), or what ever one lists marzocchis and there should be a marzocchi small parts section. A top cap shouldn't cost more than $20.

yeah i went to 3 of my lbs's and they all couldnt find it and they told me to get the part number but i couldnt find it.

Yeah, I've had simmilar happenings with my local shops, but eventually they just learned that if they want the sales, then they'll just hand the catolog to me and let me find it! LOL
every one has argyles.
What ever it is, I would get rid of it if you can, bcuz the first time you bail and the fork turs that into the down-tube, there goes your nice new frame... What ever it is, I doubt it's worth keeping for the chance of ruining your beautiful work! Just my thoughts.
