Have you done this ( I'm assuming on Photoshop) by using the lassoo tool to go round his body, inversed the selection and then desaturated? Sorry if you don't understand. Haha

Yeah it was the first time I had used it, I just desatureded it and used the memory tool or what ever it's called.

Yeah, I didn't use the memory tool, I'll try next time. I've done a couple of edits like this too, they're not very good though.
